Sorry to rock your world (pun intended), but planet Earth is not actually the center of the universe. It is a tiny cog among millions of much larger objects. But among the larger objects, some are MUCH larger than others. Case in point, our largest known star, called UY Scuti. To understand it’s massiveness, let’s compare it to Earth and the Sun.
Not even the biggest planet in our solar system
The diameter of Earth is nearly 8,000 miles. Our largest planet, Jupiter, is 86,881 miles. Meanwhile, the Sun is around 865,000 miles. Yep, it’s pretty big.
