The Amazon Rainforest, as everyone knows, is one of the most fertile and biodiverse regions in the world. It’s home to literally countless species of plants and animals, and new species are being discovered there constantly. You’ve certainly seen these before, but if you haven’t, they’re called poison dart frogs. They come in many different colors, all vivid, which they use to warn predators of the potent toxin in their slime. They were named after tribal peoples’ use of this toxin as a coating for their blowgun darts.
